History
The company is based on the skills acquired by the members in their training and professional post-graduate course during which, for various reasons, they have directly created and managed for a long time a complex system of archiving, displaying and processing digital images for the diagnostics in healthcare and research in the field of neuroscience and imaging.
The research group made up of the innovative startup has the technical-design skills related to the medical, neuroscience, engineering, IT, physical fields and boasts more than 150 publications in international journals.



Dr. Massimo Caulo
Co-founder, radiologist
Associate Professor of Neuroradiology, member of the Department of Neurosciences, Imaging and Clinical Sciences of the University “G. d’Annunzio “since 2005, has always been involved in diagnostic neuroradiology with particular regard to functional studies with advanced techniques of magnetic resonance. He is in charge of the Functional Neuroradiology Section of the Italian Neuroradiology Association (AINR) (https://www.ainr.it/sezione-di-neuroradiologia-funzionale/) He is also a first level medical director at the Radiology of the University Polyclinic of Chieti since 2010 and supervisor of the diagnostic Neuroradiology of ASL2 Abruzzo.

Dr. Piero Chiacchiaretta
President, co-founder, physicist
He graduated in Physics with a doctorate in functional Neuroimaging. Main field of research is the study of the BOLD signal (Blood Oxygenation Level Dependent) also specialized in perfusion analysis (ASL) and analysis of connectivity and neural networks. In addition, he has many years of proven experience in the development and management of PACS systems at ITAB (Institute of Advanced Biomedical Technologies). Direct knowledge acquired in the field of solid state Physics, and optoelectronic devices (OLED) at ENEA (Frascati) and the development of relational databases in companies such as La Panoramica s.n.c. (CH).

Dr. Riccardo Navarra
Co-founder, physicist
PhD in Neuroimaging, Master’s Degree in Microelectronics and Degree in Physics. He worked for about four years as a Process Engineer in Plasma Etching area, following the entire production line from bare silicon to the product ready for testing. He held the role of research fellow. It deals with predictive analysis through advanced techniques of Statistics and Artificial Intelligence and implementations of new sequences in Functional Magnetic Resonance with Diffusion weighing for the study of brain variations under different conditions. Complete the profile of leadership, planning and IT skills both as a system administrator and programmer.

Ing. Mauro Gianni Perrucci
Co-founder, engineer
Graduated in microelectronic engineering in 2002 at the University of L’Aquila, he worked for several years in the field of information technology as a network systemmer, hardware technician, sales manager for individuals and public administration. In 2003 he qualified as an engineer. In 2005 he began his doctoral activity at ITAB (Institute of Advanced Biomedical Technologies) and in 2008 he obtained a Ph.D. in Functional Neuroimaging. Since 2011 he has been working as a permanent researcher in the Department of Neurosciences, Imaging and Clinical Sciences and collaborates with various research groups.

Ing. Massimo Di Piero
Phd student , engineer
He graduated in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Pisa. During his studies he carried out training and research activities at the Ministry of Defense in the laboratories of CISAM (formerly CRESAM) and then at the U.O. of Health Physics at the University Hospital of Pisa in the field of Radioprotection. In the last period he carries out research and development activities first in Sogin S.p.A. (Trino Vercellese nuclear plant) and then at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering in the field of Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations and Radioprotection that led him to have experiences abroad in the United States and in France. He worked for a short period at SiderPiombino as a Structural Engineer in the nuclear field and in the mobile and immobile heavy structures.
Currently he is the winner of the PhD European Industrial Research PON 2014 – 2020 of the Department of Neurosciences, Imaging and Clinical Sciences of the University of Chieti – Pescara in collaboration with SerVe S.r.l. in which he deals with both artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to the medical field and the neuro images. The research currently in progress is located in the SNSI sector.
